By downloading, installing, or using Grove, the Grove Mac app, or the Grove mobile app (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Services.

Grove provides tools for developers to remotely access their development machines, manage Git repositories and worktrees, and run terminal sessions. The Services consist of:

Grove Server - A server application installed on your development machine
Grove Mac App - A macOS client application
Grove Mobile App - An iOS client application

3. Use of Services

You may use the Services for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use the Services to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Infringe upon the rights of others
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks
Distribute malware or malicious code

4. Your Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

The security of your development machine and network
Any code, data, or content accessed through the Services
Ensuring your use of the Services complies with your organization's policies
Maintaining secure access credentials for any third-party services (such as Tailscale)

5. Third-Party Services

Grove integrates with third-party services such as Tailscale for secure network access. Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the availability, security, or functionality of third-party services.

6. Intellectual Property

The Grove server is open-source software. The Grove Mac app and Grove mobile app are proprietary software. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the proprietary client applications except as permitted by applicable law.

7. Pricing and Payments

Grove offers both free and paid tiers. Paid features are available as a one-time purchase. All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as explicitly stated in refund policies of the respective app stores.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
